President Srijit Maitra takes over the reins

We wish our charter member Rtn Srijit Maitra the very best as he takes over the responsibility of becoming  the fourth President of our Rotary Club from 1st July 2009.

RECENT FUNDS RAISED

Various donations in cash and kind for Antyodoy Anath Ashram, Paushi have recently been received. They will be disbursed in a systematic manner judging the immediate necessities of the ashram. Details are as under :

1) Rs. 51,400/- by Rtn. Vijay Jain for capital expenditure / constructions as required by the Ashram.
2) A sum of Rs. 1,52,000/- in various cheques raised from the auction of paintings organized by C# - the CSR wing of Cognizant technologies, through Rtn. Chirabrata.
3) 100 sets of clothes from excess donations received by another ashram in Ichhapur, courtesy Rtn. Vijay Jain.
4) 40 packs of pencils, erasers & sharpeners, courtesy ITC, arranged by Rtn. Vipul

Also, three computers have been donated to the National Association for the Blind at their C.U. campus institute. The computers were arranged by Rtn. Prakash.

Kudos to Rtns. Chirabrata, Vijay, Vipul and Prakash !!!
